Every single day is another opportunity to be proactive. Even on days that we feel lazy or unmotivated. These are the days where we have to set our intentions early in the day.
Perspective. It can impact your decision based on how you perceive and interpret information. Self- awareness. On days where we feel as if we are not at our best, are the days that we have to be aware of our emotions and replace any negative with the positive.
Doing affirmations and taking moments to be thankful are two ways to start an intentional day. Lets look at 5 ways that I jumpstart my day!
- Positive mindset – Have you every wondered why its so challenging to be more positive? Well, that’s because having a positive mindset takes lots of effort and repetition. If You’re already going about things with positive mindset, you are almost there.
- Serenity– Start to accept the things that you can change and the things you cannot. Letting go and not controlling situations are hard for many to do. For example: letting go any worries, regrets, or anything that is holding you back from pursuing the day. So I encourage you all to implement these few steps everyday.
- Read! – I personally love to read, whether it is my bible, financial, or any kind of self development books. Such a jewel for personal growth.
- Move your body and Eat foods that energize – Get out and enjoy some fresh air! Stay active for at least 20-30 mins and you will thank yourself later. Also, eat more food that are good for your body. Fruits and veggies are superfoods you can consume that are packed with a plethora of essential nutrients!
- Sleep – How many times has your phone kept you up from sleeping? We’ve all been guilty of that one. However, I have learned that working out in the morning or reading myself to sleep gives me the best quality of rest.
What are some intentions that you want to create or need to focus better on?
