Seeking knowledge and truth about God and more about myself, is change is necessary. There is always seasons of change, for you to become better than before, for you to change your habits, or your mindset.
During this spiritual journey, I am grateful the Most High, doesn’t change. Always steadfast, loving, graceful, forgiving, and loving. The attributes of the fruits of the spirit (Fun Fact: pre-historic Kemet teachings). Which all deals with being in alignment with God, carrying and treating others and ourselves with the fullness of love.
How often can you say you’ve changed? Not due to life experiences. I am referring to you choosing for yourself to change to know God, to know yourself, and to genuinely understand who you are. Are you the kind of person that have to experience pain or hurt to choose better for yourself? Are you not aware that you have the power of choice? Fully capable of changing and choosing better for yourself on your own free will because your not bind by anything. Choosing to want better for yourself isn’t an easy decision to make. It takes sacrifices. It takes effort and discipline. I’ve always been the kind of person to want better for myself that God has to offer me. Actively seeking change and being wise to listen.
I haven’t been the kind of person to want to go through anything traumatic because I don’t listen when God is talking to me. Being obedient is what keeps us aligned with the Divine, aligned with our true righteous selves. Pay attention to your surroundings, emotional intelligence, your environment and the spirit that lives within. I always want to be in-tuned with this beautiful spirit, within myself, and within nature. Always praying for myself to continuously be able to humble myself, self-reflect, and trust within.
Those prayers that you say over yourself, are the prayers that you will be thankful for when it is time for you to take the next step that God has for you. The future you will be happy about the prayers you made, the foods you ate, the exercise you did, and more all for the betterment of you. Are you willing? To self-reflect? To take a leap of faith? To change for the betterment of you.
